VM Pro new mailbox

I have a 3 location IP office system 9.0. The third location needs a general mailbox. I enabled voicemail on the particular extension in manager and I made a transfer point in the auto attendant to leave a message in this mailbox. We've yet to record a greeting. At this point when you call the number and hit the AA message and press the option (8) to leave a message we get disconnected. I am thinking a restart of the voicemail pro may be warranted. But all programming seems correct.
 
This is a dumb one but have you clicked save and make live in VM Pro Client?

Strange that you had to create a mailbox for the user..I thought they were automatically created default
Have you tried calling the extn internally and prove the voicemail is connecting and can leave a message.
Are there any other extns in that location have voice mail working

Is the option 8 line connected to the transfer action
 
you don't create mailboxes on an IPO
all users and groups automatically have a mailbox (VM enable merely controls if calls automatically route to VM if unanswered)
what VM are you using?
SCN requires VM Pro acting as a central VM so anything else & you have a broken installation before you start.

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

We have a voicemail pro. To investigate I logged into the IPO at the remote end where the extension is and for the extension in question the VOICEMAIL ON was not ticked. SO I ticked it and still get a disconnect. The Transfer option in the VM pro is direct to the mailbox and we have several others working similarly.
 
The voicemail box was disabled when I checked in VM Pro client. Thanks for the tip!!
