VM Pro Module asking for name? (9.1.8) 1

Is it possible to have a module that will transfer the call to any extension, but before ask the name of the person calling, record it, then transfer to the extension. When the phone is answer, they will hear the name of the person calling and then decide if they want to answer or send to VM?

There is a specific callflow action for that called Whisper. So yes, you can create a module to do what you describe.
