I have a large SCN network 8.1 Vm Pro

a few random HG's are having an issue with false readings with visual voice messages PitGroup 1/8/0
System status is also showing incorrect reading.

If I drill down into the VM Pro folder everything is correct or if you use *17 0 New 2 read 0 saved (but the message waiting light stays on thinking it has 1 new message).

If you select Visual V on the phone its incorrect on the first display until you select the actual HG and then it updates correctly.

I have upgraded/rebooted and now I will rebuild the Huntgroups but it seems to return over a period of time.

My question
Is it possible to find this folder in VM Pro somewhere? "CMVoiceMailStatus" this is providing the false info even tho the account folder is correct.I looked around but didnt have any luck.

CMVoiceMailStatus
Line: type=IPLine 250 Call: lid=0 id=-1 in=0
Called[PitGroup Msgs=1 Old=8 Sav=0] Type=Default (100) Reason=CMDRdirect Calling[00000001] Type=Default Plan=Default
Display [PitGroup Msgs=1]

Good, that one possible C**k up avoided

Windows or Linux Apps server?
Id s the phone configured for access to a group mailbox (H<groupName> in source numbers)?

2 windows 2010 servers running just VM Pro
I configured another set onsite to access the mailbox ( source code ) and Im having the same issue.
Strange its only a few Huntgroup Mailbox's in the network.

Wish I knew where the CMVoiceMailStatus file resides.

IP

So I did make a change on the source codes. I noticed some users were configured with multiple Hunt groups with the
Source Number as H<Ext> and not the H<name of group> as it should be.

I made the changes and will monitor

Thanks

Kind regards

Are the people accessing the HG in other locations across the SCN? Seen a known issue with this and doing the H source numbers across SCN and it not properly displaying. Restart of the services keeps it going for a bit but then breaks. There was a special 9.0 build that fixed but I don't believe it's GA yet. . .

Sorry its a 2008 server
IPO is 8.1.(85) SP9
VMPro is 8.1.(96) SP9

SP10 was out in Sept so I can try that one now

The user is onsite trying to access that sites HG

The SP10 has bugs, so I would not expect any improvements (rather the opposite).

The HG in question, are they located on the main site?

And have you tried taking off the backup VMpro, leaving only the main server running?

Kind regards

Gunnar

Ya I read your other post about the newer SP's.

I took the secondary VM Pro out of service to see how it goes. We will see.
It almost seems like a couple groups/users are running off the backup VM.
