VM Pro drop calls after timeout

Hi,

How can I setup VMPro to drop a caller after they timeout like 3 times in the auto attendant menu.

Currently I am having phantom calls that are stuck in the auto attendant and it is taking up a line. In order for me to free up the lines I have to reboot the systme.

Make the AA as a module then link that to it's self 3 time then to a disconnect

Is there another way to drop a stuck phone call in voicemail pro?

Like if there are no activity for that line it will disconnect.

If a call get's stuck then your call fow is not right !
You make a line shortcode with a timeout in it but be carefull with real calls


Make the code something like this

N
dial
N(5)
0

the (5) is for 5 minutes !!!

I never tested this in a line shortcode by the way !!!

Calls stck in a VM Pro autoattendant? Do you have analog trunks?
 
I think I found a fix. In 4.2 VMPro has an option to time out each call received. If no activity in 2 seconds it will drop them but it gives you a few retries before dropping.
