I have installed VM Pro Campaigns on an IPO 500V2 with 7.0.23 SW and the relevant VM Pro software.
I have set up Campaigns as the client wishes to carry out satisfaction surveys.
The Campaigns work fine and all results can be verbally retrieved by using a telephone handset, with either a Park button or a shortcode.
The server being used is Win 2008 64bit SP2 and is brand new and only being used to run VM Pro.
The problem is that I cannot retrieve the results using the Web access component.

It almost works but not quite. I feel it is an IIS/ASP/.NET problem

The on-site IT Support guy is helping with the problem and below are his latest comments

"So various un-installs, re-installs have been done with IIS and the VM Pro campaigns.

I have recreated the Campaign and Campaigns sites manually in IIS. The problem seems to be with the web.config file under the Campaigns application. I can see the campaign.htm file under Arabic and English campaign, just the web application doesn’t pickup these up and fails with the following error code"

I have attached a screenshot of the error which shows now

Can anyone help please?

Technolgy - The Mother of Frustration

From the instal manual, have you done this:

1. Check that IIS is installed and running on the server PC.

• Windows 2008 Server IIS does not support legacy IIS applications such as Campaigns by default. This is rectified by reinstalling IIS from the Windows installation disk and selecting Legacy IIS support during the installation.

2. Check that the server PC can be browsed from other PC's on the customer network.

Might be worth a look at this too

Windows 2003 Server

The following configuration changes are required for IIS version 6 after installation of the Voicemail Pro web campaigns component.

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.

2. Select Administrative Tools | Computer Management.

3. Go to Services and Applications | IIS Manager | Web Sites | Default Web Site.

4. Under Web Sites, right-click Default Web Site and select Properties.

• Select the Home Directory tab.

• Under Application Settings section, set the Execute Permissions to Scripts and Executables.

• Click OK twice.

5. Under Web Sites, go to Web Service Extensions.

6. Right-click and select Add a new web service extension....

• Set the following values:

• Extension Name: campaigns.

• Required files: Click Add. Select the file type as CGI exe files and browse to the campaign.exe file location specified during installation. This is usually c:\InetPub\ or c:\InetPub\scripts\campaign.exe.

• Set extension status to Allowed.

• Press OK.
