Hi

IP office running 7.0.23, voicemail 7.0.19 and contactstore 7.8.16.

AA stops playing greeting and *17 doesn't allow access to VM.

Every so often, the voicemail service locks up, the service looks like it is still running, but the only way to start the vm working again is to manually restart the VM pro service. Event log doesn't show anything untowards.

Any ideas.

What happens if you set the propertied for the service?
I always set it for restarting the service 2 and the 3th time reboot the server.
Although you say it is not stopped i still would try it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I have tried that as well, however I should change the last attempt to stop the service to see want would happen and have calls to a hunt group called vmdown as a fall back when VM service is not available or something like that. Will kept you posted.

Kill the virus scanner, when it passes the Avaya Database directory i could lock it up.
