I have a Mitel 3300 MX version 7.1. And I have configured the Auto Attendant to answer the incoming calls. When caller press 1 it goes to one group of extensions and when caller press 2 is being transfer to an external number trough an System Speed Call. When a user hits this options the system says, "you are being transfer to" and then the ext number where we are transferred. Then we are transferred which is fine. The only problem is that we would like to get rid of that prompt. Is there a way of doing it from the configuration? Alternatively we could erase or modify that prompt. Does anybody know where is it located on the Hard Drive?

This is the same prompt that kicks in when you are listening a VM greeting and then you press 0 to be transferred to the Operator's extension, then you hear the “you are being transfer to” that I need to change or get rid off.

Thanks.

I don't see any way to disable this message, but you can put name recording and it will play it instead of extension number like "you are being transferred to the service department

I have been asked the same question by a customer as all the AA greetings and names have been recorded by a male, and the "You are being transferred to" is a female.
Have just logged question with Mitel Tech.
