VM Lite - Remote Voicemail Acess - How to do it?

I have an IP Office 403 with Voicemail Lite. I see our shortcode *17 for accessing voicemail from each extension but how can we have access to our mailboxes from outside the building.

I have DID to each extension.

I am use to Intuity world where you have a remote dialin number where you enter extension and password and walk through the prompts.

I am sure VM Lite is much more basic than this but just not sure what it is capable of or how to configure it?

When you call in on a in dial and the call goes to the VM Greeting press 8, from there you enter the Voicemail Code.

You program the Voicemail code under User/Voicemail in Manager.

Also you can set a universal access to any voice mailbox where you would dial in and then enter your mail box and Voicemail code to gain access.

To do this, select a unused incoming call route and make the destination then merge the configuration and dial the number selected.

Select "Voicemail" as the destination of an 'Incoming Call Route'.

Dialing * for remote access only works for VM Pro.

Select Voicmail as incomming destination for a spare DDI (as per sizbut)

You now need to do 1 of 2 things

1 set a VM code for the mailbox

Or

2 add additional secure locations to the users Source Number Field V<Telephone Number>

If a user calls the DDI from a secure source they will be taken directly to thier Mialbox, otherwise they will be prompted for mailbox & password. If no password is set they will get "Remote Access has not been configured on this mailbox"
