When someone leaves a VM message and someone listens to it vm leaves another vm saying "please enter your passcode"!

Anything obvious?

I just realised what is happening.

When someone leaves an extn VM, The embedded VM lights the phone AND THEN calls the extn to let them know that they have a VM message. This happens whilst the person is on the phone so it then leaves another message saying 'please enter your passcode.

SO how do it stop the VM port calling extns to let them know they have a VM message?

Sorted it - import sp/sh had been inputted wrongly. Notification was set to extn number!

this caught me out about 4 years ago for the first time. very annoying.

Good for finding it yourself ;)
