I have a customer with a Partner II, they have a PCMCIA VM card with 14 mailboxes (I believe that is the max) they now want to add 3 more mailboxes. We have an empty slot in the cabinet for a VM module card. The question is can we leave the PCMCIA card in with the new VM module card or will it need to be taken out? If the PCMCIA card must be taken out is there any way to put the data on the new module.

Thanks in advance.

Charlie

If you have PC messaging card then you have ACS not partner 2,if you will replace the VM or add the VM module you have to remove the other PC card, and NO you can't back up the program from the PC messaging card to the VM module card.Sorry for the Bad news.

Good Luck.

Yes I do have a Partner ACS, thanks for the help.
