I have a few users who are in and out of the office so much that they pretty much like to use their cell phones.
They also don't want to be bothered by checking their voicemail on the system.
SO

i have set them up with an unconditional forward and disabled their voicemail. one user (verizon cell phone) works fine, the system goes right to his cell phone and allows the called to leave a voicemail there.

the other user has a t-mobile cell phone and the caller gets stuck with a ringing indefinitely. no voicemail ever picks up.

any suggestions or possible causes for this? i'm stumped and a bit frustrated (with avaya in general).

thanks!

i had straings problem too with t-mobile
when i called the t-mobile phone and rejected the call it didn't hangup but kept calling
after three times of rejecting it finaly stopped
but after a while it was gone
try it for a few days maybe it is gone then

You need to change the

Allocated Answer Interval / No Answer Time: Default = Blank
Sets how long a call rings the user before following forward on no answer if set or going to voicemail. Leave blank to use the system default setting.

Change it to 60s because else it will start e new call every 15 sec and then you will no go in voicemail.

You can see in call-status that its trying a new call every 15 s.
