I have a customer that has a 308pr with partner mail vs. It is set up so that the auto attendent grads all calls on the first ring. Just the way they want it, but when a caller is trans. to an ext. the display says that the call is coming from the voicemail. The customer wants called id info to come through when the call is transferred from voicemail....can this be done?????

Two thing need to happen.
1)Two rings are required for caller ID to pass.

2)ACS R6 or 7 and Partner Messaging R6 or R7

Caller ID wasn't able to pass with the Auto Attendant until the ACS R6 and the Partner Messaging R6 came out.

you can set up the clid logs for exts., then have the calls ring at least twice before the aa. that would give you access through the clid logs to see the clid to decide if you want to answer the call or not. or if you just want to know who is calling before you answer.

another option if you do not have the equipment recent enough to pass the clid is to have clid untis wired to the lines before the system, or a software application that collects the clid, and displays it on the pc, or pc's.

You do not always get what you pay for, but you never get what you do not pay for.

So if i have partner messaging R6 or better and ACS R6 or better the caller id will come through the AA ???

As long as the customer has the caller ID service from the provider and the phone call rings at least twice.

Set delay to 2 rings(#506) and set ringing on operator phone to delayed ring.
