VM admin mailbox for a Partner? (Newbie)

Good morning all,

I cannot figure out how to get into my Partner vm to administer the unit. I do not have the Messaging unit, but the basic vm.

I hae read a couple of posts here and some Avaya documentation and I am just NOT getting it for some reason.

I have documentation here that says 99# then password#. Do I transfer myself to extension 99 or what? I can get into system programming fine and am handling that end of it okay.
 
First call the Voice Mail unit by pressing Intercom and dialing 777. When it answers and says "Welcome to Partner Mail VS. Please enter extension and pound", enter 99#. Then enter your password and #. If you sucessfuly log in, you need to then press 9 to get to the programming menu. This option 9 is NOT part of the menu after you get logged in, you just have to know to press 9. After that, follow the prompts to change mailboxes, the autoattendant, lines, etc.

Thanks much dialing the 777 was the part I was missing! As I understand it, Partner Messaging is a completely different animal?
