Partner Mail V4: I have a button programm on each 18d that will dial 777 the voice mail hunt group hich then asks the station user to enter ext. and # sign.

To save them time, how can I program the button so it dials the VM system and autologs into that station users VM without entering their mailbox or password. This will save them a lot of time not having to dial these all these numbers.

when it answers pushing # will log them into their mailbox (assuming they are calling from their extension ) they will still have to enter password no way that Im aware of to bypass
that

could it be entered as a string with a pause?

Try programing the button this way , havn't tried it but may work
left itercom,777 , pause ( hold ) , Stop (Mic HAFI ) password
touch button ,speaker tuns on ,calls vms ,with the # it tells what station , touch button again when asked , password is sent

ops forgot the # after the pause (Hold ) & before stop

tried it at a customer site today, it did not work
it would not allow anything past the hunt group
if you tried to program The # and the password to another button on it would drop the intercom and grap a outside line, your only choice is to put in voice-mail that you can program ,not to use any digits for password

Can't be done. I think TTT came up with a workaround for this once but it was no easier than doing it the way you are supposed to, and that's for security. Do you really want anybody to walk over to your phone and access your mailbox? Why bother with a password?

it would be nice to have the option not to have a password , in the systems we sell where VM passwords are optinal most of my customers choose not to have a password .
