I have a 2524 that has a network connection to another location I want to seperate that location yet be able to access the main lan for internet etc. The location is using the same ip range and subnetmask of 10.0.99.0/24 but I want it that area to be 10.0.8.9/24 .

How can I achieve this ?

If I understand correctly, you are saying the same IP subnet? If so, you can not do it.

Yup, just read it again. You need a router.

A HP2626 will do it, static route with a DG pointing at the Internet router/firewall.
