Most of my new servers that I'm building have two ethernet ports, so I'm configuring Link Aggregation on my Switch.
I don't know if I could of done this off the WAN Interface, but I connected a cable from the X4 port interface on
the sonicwall to my switch and configured a sub interface, along with my switch and everything works just perfect.
Now I have built another Server and I'm having a conflict.
Unlike the other web server which was configured for dmz,
this server needs to be accessed from within the network.
My LAN interface (X0) on the sonicwall is configured for
192.168.0.2 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and the
server I'm trying to configure has an IP 192.168.0.3 with
a VLAN IF OF 3 as configured on switch. I'm not sure, if
I can just create a sub interface off off the X0 port
and just give it a vlan id of 3? If I try to select
lan, then I have to enter an IP, e.g., 192.168.0.33 with
a subnet of 255.255.255.0 and I get a conflict.
any help would be appreciated, thanks.
thanks.
