I've created several VLANs using 3Com 4924. I've also set an interface as the gateway for each of the VLANs on the 4924. Workstations on all VLANs other than the default one (VLAN ID:1) can ping one another successfully.

All workstations obtain their IP thru the DHCP Server on the default LAN. They can ping the DHCP server, but not the other devices on the default LAN. The 4924 has the route for the default LAN on its routing table. What am I missing on the configuration in order for the default LAN and the VLANs to ping one another?

What are the address ranges and netmasks?

Do you have routing and VLAN interfaces defined correctly?

Can you show an example of your routing table?
