Hi all,

I am trying to configure VLAN on my Baystack 350 to be routed by my Cisco 2621 router.

But i can't find the good parameters.

The default VLAN is VLAN 1 on the Baystack so i configured it as encapsulation dot1q 1 native on my Cisco router.

I only have one ethernet interface on my router to do the routing, so i did sub-interfaces, one in VLAN 2, one in VLAN 3.

And VLAN 2 and 3 seems to be well configured in my switch.

May anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance

Didier

Is the port to the router setup with tagging? and are both VLANs diffined on that link?

I think that it is done with this command:
encapsulation dot1q 1 where 1 is the id of the VLAN

in the switch i had configured both VLAN to go in the port where the router is connected.

Thanks for your help.

Didier
