hi
Whenever i check in file into vss, it checks in the original file with version history incremented by one. However i find another identical version of the file that I checked in is shown in the history with comments ' Page changed because a file that it depends on changed.'.

How will I stop this second identical copy of the file from getting into vss and incrementing the vss history log.

Thanks in advance.

IvanYaro,

I don't have an answer except that I am having the same problem and I found that the difference between the two versions is that it is removing the meta charset tags. (I desperately need these tags to get the pages past the webmaster) I have other applications in VSS that don't do this. I am using Interdev 6 in conjunction with VSS. Any other info?
