visuals (objects)responding to sound

Hi ,
is someone there who can give me some basic hints on to make "castmembers " respond to sound
in a way that they move or alter in shape .
in corespondence with the pitch or different tunes
I assume there is a bit of lingo to learn about it
I am verry happy if someone can help me to make a start

Director on its own cannot analyze sound data, so you’ll need an Xtra such as Amplitude:
