hi,
i have some problems to install VisualAge C++
and i have been told that working with VisualAge i might suffer lots of problems
i have to develop a project working with sybase on AIX
in a windows workgroup
what i can do is write my code on a windows VC++ and compile it on the AIX but that will make debugging verey hard
so the question is:
dose working with VisualAge is somthing that is hard to do for someone that dose not know unix so well...?
can i use sybase that is installed on AIX from a windows enviroment? , and so i will be able to debug my code from a VC++ enviroment and then compile it on an AIX?
or there is another tool i can use that will be simple and stable so i won't need to work from a VC++ at all?
what you think will be the best way of working?
note that i am trying to install VisualAge for some time and i get lots of truble installing it
is that a common behivior?
or its just me?
thanks
Ronen.
