Does anyone know of any issues using css in Visual Web Developer 2005 Express?

We need a much fuller description of what you're trying to achieve before we can help you.

What do you mean by 'Problems'?

Thanks,

Rob

None that I know of. However, some built in .NET server controls produce some bloated, non-standard client side code. This hasn't anything to do with VWD however, just individual controls.

That's definately true if you use some of the controls "as is" (although they are more bloated than "non-standard" as they can all me made to validate to any DOCTYPE). Pretty much all of them (or all the ones I've used anyway) can be made to "behave" though...

That's true, and it really has got a whole lot better in ASP.NET 2, not just with individual controls, but with the entire page.

If you look through this forum you'll find a lot of messages that relate to how Firefox and IE display some css styles slightly differently and how 'workarounds' have had to be developed.

That's pretty much what I'm getting at really, does the effect you get in VWD always look the same in all browsers and has anyone already come across problems with the way VWD writes the stylesheets as it's done through a form system rather than simply typing into a text document.
