Visual Voice Mail Embedded

Hi,
Can you help please.
3300 Rel 4.2
UCA Rel 4.0.27.0

Will visual Voice mail work on a Uca client (Deskphone or Softphone).
All desk phone's are 5312's so cannot use.
Will it only work if Nupoint UM is used and not the embedded mail.

Visual voicemail works with embedded and Nupoint
with 5320, 5330, 5340 & 5360 phones it also works with UCA client

Hi,

Had another look today, Visual Voice Mail (Embedded) will work to the phones you state. For it to work with UCA client I think it requires Nupoint mail.
My site only has 5312 phones with embedded mail and UCA Desk and Softphones clients on uca.
UCA has the licences For Visual but I cannot see how to enable it.
Is there a licence option on the 3300. When I go to the Vmail box's the Visual V Mail hunt group is "grayed out" and I cannot enter a value. ?

Have you tried to create a new mailbox and then adding the visual VM hunt group?

yes UCA visual voicemail is only supported on nupoint

Thanks boycey9, reading the documentation again that is what is suggested allthough it is not that clear.
Customer will have to get some different phones.
