Please advise on how I get line numbers to appear in my Visual C++ studio (on the left margin) so I can troubleshoot my errors better.

Tools/Options/Workspace, then check the Display Status Bar box.

I tried that and it only shows line number on the bottom corner. I was hoping I could get a line number on the left margin to show each line number of my code.
