At work when I am editing a file, the Solution Explorer shows me what file I am on. At home it doesn't do that.

Is there a setting somewhere that tells it to go to the file in Solution Explorer?

Thanks,

Tom

Not sure of your version, but check:

Tools>Options...>Projects and Solutions>General

Make sure "Track active item in Solution Explorer" is checked.

That was it.

I am using 2010 and it actually is in "Otions/Project and Solutions", which you can get to from a couple of places. Tools/Options and "Debug/Options and Settings", are the places I found it.

I am surprised it wasn't a default selection as I can't see why you wouldn't want it.

Thanks,

Tom
