I am running a 2GHz with 1GB RAM and whenever I run VS, it runs slow. For some reason, when I type, I can type complete sentences and then have to wait about 2 seconds befoer VS catches up and displays it. I can't figure it out. I know there are others in my organization that have had the same problem, but nobody has been able to figure out why. This has happened to me on 2 PCs:

Win2k, 800MHz, 512MB RAM
- and -
WinXP, 2GHz, 1GB RAM

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!! ________________________________________

I've noticed that same thing, although I usually have about 2 or 3 other apps going (web browser, outlook, icq, etc.)

Have you tried just running it on its own to see if its the app or if its just too many resources being shared?

Probably VS.NET was just distracted by the enormous quantity of resource space and started spacing wondering how it could use it all heheheh
