Visual Studio. net would not let me in!!!!

I have a problem then trying to enter my website(which I am running from my PC using IIS) as inputing the follwing:
1. Open rpoject from the WEB
2. I input : localhost
3. asks me to input login name and password?????

What exactly it would be if I don't remember setting anything up for password then I was seing up my IIS????????
Please, help !!!!!!!!!

Maybe there's nothing you need to set up for the password but do you need to set permissions of any kind?
just a guess...
