Good day! Thanks to you all for making this such a great forum!

My problem is fairly simple; I have a VB6 app that we've deployed on Server 2000, Windows 2000 and Windows XP via a .msi file created in Visual Studio Installer v 1.1.

Now all the sudden on Server 2003 it only installs "for the current user" instead of "for all users". We are deploying it via Citrix which means installing it for all users is imperative.

Is there any way to get it to install for "all users" by default?

It depends if your package was already once installed on the client or not.
Otherwise, yes it is possible, but it needs to be installed with elevated priviledges, with Admin rights. If installed with admin rights, and the current Windows Installer is installed, then the choice whether to install for the current user or all users should be seen during setup.
