Visual RPG/Acceler8DB Version Compatibility?

Hi

I've been running version 4.7 of Acceler8DB for a number of years and it has worked fine throughout numerous AS400 upgrades. However we've just upgraded to AS400 5.3 and 8DB refuses to connect to the server - I'm getting an error "1301 : Value for parameter 2 not valid. CPF3C3C".
Anyone know if this is a case of 4.7 being too old so incompatible with AS400 5.3, or is there something else I need to do?
I've added TCP port 5042 but this hasnt made any difference.
