Visual Message Light

Client has a CICS 4.1. Wants to add Voicemail (4 MB's), but insists on having a "Message Waiting Light" on 1 phone. They are also changing their phones to T7316e's.

Will this work on a Flash 2 or just Call Pilot 3.1? I have a Flash 2 here as well as a CP100 3.1, so I can install either. What software level will I need for the CICS, Flash (if it can) and CP100?

The M series phones do not have an actual light. T series phones have a red light on the flip screen. It should work with either VM

Correction, I just read you need 6.1 or higher for the star talk to show the light.

OK, 6.1 for the Flash. What abgout the Call Pilot? Will 4.1 work?

Technically to be supported you need KSU 6.1 for all the features of an e-series phone to work proper.
-Message Waiting Light
-Status Icons on display strips
-Handsfree key under key pad
-Program lines to any of the lower buttons.

Voice Mail has nothing to do with this as all versions send MWI
