Visual Linking Expert

I have a report that is working for a while but have to modify the table relationship using the Visual Linking Expert. What does this error means:

"Your current link configuration contains multiple starting points. Please be advised that this generally not supported"

What does that mean?

That usually means you have an unlinked table.

That warning message is also displayed when you LINK two fields with different datatype.Eg Table1.Field1( Numeric 4 ) and Table2.Field2 ( Numeric 8 ).
In the baove case also u get that warning but if your sure that those fields will have same data then report works fine.
That is just a warnig message that something is wrong in the linking you had done.
