Hi,
My Visual InterDev does not have Visual SourceSafe intregrated like I have in my Microsoft Visual Basic.
In my Microsoft Visual Basic, I have it in Tools -> SourceSafe. How do I make de same with my Microsoft Visual Interdev?
Thank's,
Carlos Costa

The integration actually occurs on the 'master' Web Server - it is co-ordinated by FrontPage server extensions. This leads to all sorts of issues and difficulties - but it does (eventually) work.

There is loads of stuff on the Microsoft MSDN site to get you going (in more ways than one!).

In summary:
1. Install latest FrontPage Server Extensions on IIS server
2. Install VisSourceSafe server on the IIS server
3. Take a holiday / cold shower - get a junior to read the manual.
4. VisSourceSafe should now become available in Interdev. (Project / Source Control). You may need to use the 'Change Connection' feature to syncronise between a Web and an existing Source Safe 'project'.
5. Restrict the file-level access of the Anonymous Web User (IUSR_machinename) to read-only. This forces Front-Page to check-in/out files under your WindowsNT Login. In Interdev, see Project / Web Project / Web Permissions...

Good Luck (You may need it). X-) (Content Management)
