Greetings,

I have visual integrator in my MAS 200 System. I have little experience with the integrator, but I only need it for a single project.

It is fairly confusing when I open up Export Job Maintenence, and start a New Export Job. What I need it to do is to Export all the bills in the system, and then all the items under those bills that contain a certain unit of measure.

Is there anyway of doing something conditional like this? Also if I edit the quanitities in excel after doing this, can I simply import them back into Excel?

Any comments and help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My suggestion is to NOT use VI. Use Access and pull the two tables in. Access is faster by a factor of 10.

Note that in most header-detail tables you cannot write back to the lines. VI has no logic which will allow you to address existing lines. You will only create NEW lines. You would need to export, make changes, re-init the files, import back in.

Ok bare with me here as i'm no pro at MAS at all. What is Access that your talking about? Are you referring to Microsoft Access? I'm not sure what tables your referring to either.
Thank you.

Yes, Microsoft Access. The tables would be BM1 and BM2. And if you have to ask these questions I would suggest working with your reseller, especially on changing the BOMs.

I've set up a test company within my program so I dont mess up any of our companies actual bills until I understand it fully. How exactly do you use microsoft Access to get the bills out of mas or to modify them that is?
Thanks
