Visual Fox program is acting very strange

Hello all.
I have a Fujitsu Siemens box that is running Win2003. Every day I must run a Visual Fox program that collects data from alot of databases. Everything worked fine since yesterday.

The program works very slow when the window is on top. If I open Windows Explorer I set it on top of the window that belong`s to the Visual FOx program, the program works faster. If I put more Windows proprietary windows such as Manage my computer, Windows Explorer the program runs faster and faster.

But as soon as I put the program window on top of the other windows, the program runs slow again.
