Hello,

I am NEW to Visual dBase 5.5. Previously used dBase for DOS version 2.0.

I am currently trying out Visual dBase 5.5 with Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional on a Stand Alone PC.

I am getting a "Database Engine Error: Insufficient Memory for this operation." Error Message while using the Command Window and attempting to create an Index with three field names Tag Project.

i.e. Index on Project_ID+Chart1+deptid TAG Project

The data file is in dBase for DOS 2.0 format.

Any suggestions on how to resolve memory issue will be greatly appreciated.
