How can I get Visual C so that I can start learning how to develope a C++ applications with a windows interface; I suspect this is the only way Nkabirwa Sowed Magezi

There are Free compilers like GCC if you want to go that route.

There is also borland C++ ( at least there is a forum on Tek-tips for that version )

You might be able to get a Student/educational discount on Microsoft Visual c++.

Or buy C++.net for $50.00 as the student licence. -God Bless
