I had a problem on my computer with iexplorer !
Every time I tried to open IE a "Visual C++ Runtime error" kept ie from starting.
After a long search I finally found the solution on another forum. I'm putting it here so other can find the solution if they get this error.

Control panel and internet options..
I deleted cookies, deleted files then went to settings and went to view files and deleted them all. Then clicked ok this was all under the general tab.
then I went to content and clicked on clear ssl state then I went to advanced and made sure that under browsing that enable third party browsing extensions was unchecked then I clicked ok.
