I am hoping to become a programmer. Right now, I am setting up my course of study, and I am confused! Can somebody please tell me what a Visual Basic Programmer does and what a Basic Programmer does. I have contacted different schools in my area, and no one can explain the difference to me. Please help!!

Visual Basic vs. Basic Programmer

hehe, Basic would be the core language, this is almost like comparing a C++ Programmer to a VC++ Programmer, except in that case both languages are exactly the same with some addition to the compiler specifics. Basic I would assume is one that had worked with the original basic concept such as GWBasic, QBasic, TruBasic, and so forth, Visual Basic is oriented towards windows and is visual(there was a VB for DOS), the basic language structure is still intact , but Visual Basic has a lot more included.
