I had a quick and easy question (i hope).
I'm using the Visual Basic - Package & Depl. Wizard to create an installation of an application. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to change the icon that appears next to the application name in the Windows Programs list after the installation of the actual application. The default looks like the default icon on the forms in Visual Basic and I havent been able to find where to change this particaular icon.
Thank you!

I see you did this a little while ago and probably have a solution, but I just came across it. Anyways, one thought - does your program have the right icon on the .exe? if so, your link should just take that icon. If not, you set that in Project-Properties, then select the Make tab and select which form's icon the project should have. This of course means that you need to first set the icon property of one or more of your forms to the icon you want your program to adopt.
Hope this helps!

Slurpee7, are we any kin? If you are trying to package you should be using Wise , Install shield or some sort of capture rather than VB, as it is limited.
