I have a problem (A sort of Jerry Springer start).
I am new to Visual Basic.
However, I have been writing databases using Visual Basic 5 and Access.
Recently I installed Office 2000 and BUGGER! VB5 is unable to read Access 2000.
Any ideas, remedies, voodoo chants or just plain magic potions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I don't have a version of VB5 installed (now), but I'm quite sure that if you got the correct version of ADO, there's no problems.

NB. You cannot use DAO with acces 2000.

I don't use DAO but I'm sure that if you reference DAO 3.6 object library that it will work. ADO use the ADO 2.5 library.
