Vista only boots with cd inserted

Hi

Finally got vista installed however it will only load if the vista cd is in the first dvd drive, if it isnt then it says summat like please insert boot media, press any key to continue

it dosnt boot off the cd because after it starts booting it dosnt read the dvd drive again, only when the booting starts.

Anyone have any idea why

While your in Vista, what does Disk Management say about the state of the Partitions on the hard drive?
Which Partition is marked as the System, Active, Primary one? Is it the one with all the Hidden and System Boot Files?
