Greetings,
I just installed 2 additional gigs of Dell RAM on my Windows Vista Home Premium operation system. This makes for a total of 4 gigs of RAM.
However, when I press F2 for setup, it shows that only 3 gigs of RAM are recognized.
When I log into Windows Vista and choose System (under Control Panel), it shows that only 1 gig is recognized. Similarly, using "mem" at the DOS prompt only shows 1 gig being recognized.
Any ideas as to the reason for the discrepancy?
Thanks in advance!
