I have new Vista workstation. My HP750c+ Designjet plotter was working perefectly with XP before. Since new Vista workstation didnt have a parallel port I bought a Linksys Printserver 10/100 (model PPSX1 ver2) for prallel printers.

From Parallel cable goes from HP750c+ to Linksys printserver. CAT-5 cable goes from printserver to network card (Intel(R) 82562V 10/100 Platform LAN) in back of workstation. LAN LED is only light on printserver NOT lighitng up. No activity on Network card either. When I hit reset on printserver I see the signal going to the HP750C+. Issue seems to be between Printserver and Vista. I hooked up printserver/cables to XP & Win2k machine and it worked perfectly (Lan Led lite up) without any drivers.

Protocols on Network cards are :
Client fo rMicrosoft Networks
QoS Packet Scheduler
File & Printer Sharing
Link-Layer Topology for Microsoft Networks
Internet Protocol Ver 4 & 6)
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper i/o Driver

Currently Linksys says they dont have Vista drivers but almost everything that wasnt supposed to work in Vista, does with the right tinkering. Not ready to give up just yet and was hoping someone could offer advice if they see something I could do.

Uninstalled/reinstalled network card

Any help would be appreciated.
