I know that SOAP will not install on VISTA. Does anyone know if Nortel is currenlty testing CCT 5 or CCT 6 with VISTA?

Thanks.

In Product Bulletin (P-2007-0032-Global) Nortel says that planned GA Date is:

CCT 5.0: 30 July 2007
CCT 6.0: 9 July 2007

Communication Control Toolkit 5.0 SDK version 5.0.10.4 and Communication Control Toolkit 5.0 SDK version 6.0.5.6 support Vista.

Thanks for update. I will see if my vendor can pull the notice for me.

I know that SWC 4.5 is now only in support mode from Nortel, but was there any mention of it vista? Right now I can not get the the service to run proper on it do to the soap issue. Soap will install, but the web client will not recongize it?

I know they made an ex for IE 7, thought maybe they would do the same for vista?

I was able to get SOAP to install by turning off the UAC. I was able to turn it back on after the install was done and reboot.

What's the UAC? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with this acronym.

In vista this is User Control Access.
This is a new feature that is supposed to make vista more safe.
