We're changing computers for the server. To XP. I wanted to try it 'stand alone' first. However, when I copy the files from a backup, it says the applications are not installed. If I load it from my installation CD, I get a "Divide by zero or Overflow error". Fastopen didn't help. How can I load this?

There are several possible issues. 1) VP2000 is written in Foxpro 2.6. I have found this to frequently have problems with XP. This is particularly true of the windows edition. It seems microsoft has also gotten better at this. Division by 0 is a common error for this problem. Sometimes setting up a PIF can help. There are people who say that it works. I've regarded the data as to important to mess with. Upgrading to Vision Point 10 puts you in Visual Foxpro 6 which is fully XP compatible and a true Windows program. This is the solution I recommend. However, I frequently have a financial interest in it as I can provide VP10.
