Hi everybody,

i'm a french guy (so excuse my english),we've got a SCO server with visionFS installed and i need to access to the file shared on the SCO server from a NT4 Server which is on a different subnet but it doesn't work.
I obtain a message like this "impossible to join the server".

Any one can explain to me why i can't access to the shared file on the SCO
server ?

Thx

You need to determine which Authentication method is in use for VisionFS.

# /usr/vision/bin/visionfs status

That will show if the Authentication is one of the following:

Plain Text passwords
Vision Encypted passwords
PassThru authentication to an alternate host

Solving your problem will be easier if these are known. Can you access shared files from other Windows-based systems?
