Is VISIO compatible with AS/400 for reverse engineering. I need to create a data model of AS/400 using VISIO. Can anybody help me. Please... Client Access driver is not displayed in Visio drivers list. How can I bring table information into VISIO??????

I wish that I had the answer.

I logged onto this forum to learn the basics about reverse engineering. I need to get the schema to an Oracle DB on a Windows 2000 server. I know that we bought the version of Visio that has this capability. My predecessor in my job was able to get a schema from the DB.

It sounds like you understand reverse engineering in general terms, but not with AS400.

okay, I found the reverse engineering wizard. But I get lost when working on the ODBC part.

I eventually got an answer for my question in thread 186-655511. Maybe you should check out that thread. After that discussion, I get the impression that if you can define it as an ODBC entity, you can attempt to reverse engineer it in Visio.

OhioSteve,
I'm sure it's just a typo, but if you miss out the space in <thread 186-655511> it appears like this thread186-655511 and is then clickable and easier to follow!
