Visio Professional Auto-discovery

If I would have known that MS removed auto-discovery from VISIO Pro I would never have purchased it. Now I am looking for a copy of 2000 on ebay.

But what puzzles me, if you look in the sub directories in 2002 Pro, their is an auto-discovery tool. When I run it it reports some dll not registered, so I register them, still didnt work.

Anyone else found a replacment for Visio? Or know how to get the auto-discovery funtion to work?

Autodiscovery of what ? AD, general lan componants, plans ? if it's about the AD, it'a never been in professional version but in the enterprise version... and it still in it !

Figured it out! Just had to read the FAQ at MS. Enterprise network has been discontinued. They reccomend those people that want Auto discovery look at Flukes
product called Lan Mapshot which integrates into Visio.

MS sells only 2 flavours of Visio now
Standard and Professional.
