visio process shapes turn into sheets when copied

have visio diagrams and when i copy a process shape it sometimes turns into a sheet shape,,,,really cant discern when or why, has anyone seen this??? i run code against the shapes and my code looks for 'process' ones so the others are missed out :-(

i have put some defensive code in to check how many sheet shapes there and inform the user something is up...but would like to get to the bottom of it...
