Is there any way to link Visio to a database or more simply to a spreadsheet that a flow diagram displays values that update when database or spreadsheet updates to automatically reflect the new values?
Example If I have three boxes in the shape of a pyramid. Top box (labeled A) and bottom boxes labeled B & C. A connects to B & C, but B & C don't connect to each other. I run a query that counts how many A's then how many for B and C. The query or spreadsheet could be using those labels A, B, C to identify where to put the counts (next to the correct box).
Where can I go to find out if this is possible... I feel that this is possible but after different search methods with Google, I am without a game plan.
